• A Delta Junction man had to be subdued with a Taser by Alaska State Troopers after pulling a knife on his adopted sister, who was also his ex-girlfriend.
Steven Worley, 18, has been charged with two counts of third-degree assault.
Troopers were called to a Delta Junction home Sunday after Worley became upset that his ex was seeing someone else and pushed the woman down and made stabbing motions with a knife.
The pair’s mother was able to push him off and he left for about 30 minutes, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.
He then returned to the home, threw a 15-pound dumbbell at the woman, and again came at her with the knife, the report stated.
When troopers arrived, Worley would not comply with their commands to drop the knife and was tased before being taken into custody.
